Ukraine says it has carried out a large-scale drone operation targeting 14 Russian vessels, including 10 oil tankers and four ferries, in what it describes as another strike against Russia's military logistics and fuel supply network.
According to Ukraine's Commander of the Unmanned Aerial Systems Forces, the operation took place on July 12, with drones reportedly striking vessels in the Sea of Azov and Kerch Harbour.
Ukraine also released footage that it says shows the drone attacks hitting the targeted vessels as part of the coordinated overnight operation.
The videos were published alongside an official statement from Ukrainian authorities. However, the location and date of the footage have not been independently verified.
Russia has not confirmed Ukraine's claims or commented on the reported damage to the vessels.
The reported operation is part of Ukraine's broader campaign to target Russian fuel infrastructure, logistics hubs, and military supply routes using long-range drones.
The latest claims come as fighting continues across multiple fronts, with both sides increasingly relying on drones to strike strategic targets far behind enemy lines.
