The Committee to Protect Journalists has described the conflict as the deadliest period on record for Palestinian journalists and media workers, while emphasizing that documentation and verification remain ongoing.
The incident came a day after clashes near Tal left four Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers dead, prompting Israeli forces to launch an expanded security operation across parts of the West Bank.
International organizations continue to call for the protection of civilians and journalists, stressing that media workers must be able to report safely during armed conflict under international humanitarian law.
