Chief of the General Staff of the British Army, Gen Sir Charles Roland Vincent Walker, visited Pakistan on 6th November 2025, meeting Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation, regional security & measures to ensure continued peace & stability.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to sustained collaboration in defence & strategic affairs, signalling the strengthening of Pakistan-UK military ties.
During his visit, Gen Walker paid homage to Pakistan’s martyrs by laying a floral wreath at Yadgar e Shuhada & was presented with a guard of honour by the Pakistan Army.
He also lauded the Pakistan Army’s sacrifices in the fight against terrorism & its contributions to regional stability.
This engagement follows prior interactions between the 2 militaries, including COAS Munir’s official visit to the United Kingdom in February 2025 & earlier meetings with British defence leadership, reflecting a sustained effort to bolster military to military relations.
Through these high-level interactions, Pakistan continues to demonstrate its leadership in regional security, the professionalism of its armed forces & its proactive role in global defence collaboration, solidifying its position as a reliable partner for peace & stability.
